i grew up in rockville, maryland, and attended oberlin college and conservatory in ohio, where i studied in the technology in music and related arts (TIMARA) program under composer and pianist aurie hsu; i have bachelor's degrees in electronic music and biochemistry. records i've worked on have been featured in billboard, audiofemme, and when the horn blows, to name a few. currently, I live in washington, d.c. my band is called border house and you can listen to our records here.
in addition to my work with recordings, i've also produced podcasts (vox.com, morning brew), done sound design, and featured experimental work at events like boston early music festival.
aside from working with sound, you can usually find me constructing crossword puzzles or watching whatever soccer match is on.
